I need an attorney or business adviser to read a contract to make sure it is legal and in my best interest....?
What kind of attorney does this sort of work and what are their average rates? I am in the Los Angeles area. Are there "business advisers" that do this as well? This is a contract where I will be receiving a percentage of ownership of a start-up company for services rendered. Thanks.

- Pay for a good contract attorney if this is something very important. You want to find someone in your area as state-to-state laws are different. You also want to find someone familiar with startup company organizing. A good contract attorney will usually run $150 - $300 per hour. Best bet is to find someone in your area like another business that has used one and get a referral.
